Lesson Share experience

Yesterday I got to share my lesson with others in my major. It was a good and scary experience. It was good because it helped me get in front of others but that was also the scary part. It was fun seeing what others did and how they used technology. All I can say is that family and consumer science has some really neat and fun ways to use technology.

This is it

Well, I survived my very first computer class ever. I sure did learn a lot. I did not realize there were so many good resources out there and that technology was so neat. I hope I will be able to learn more and help my students use technology in their lives. It will be fun to present my lesson to my group and show them how exciting my technology discovery with foods is! I can't wait to see all of their's too! This is so exciting!

IPT 286 Reflection

What has been the best aspect of this learning experience?
I have learned that technology really isn't so bad after all. I can learn it and it is neat to see that there are so many resources out there to help us in our teaching.

What has been the most challenging aspect of this learning experience?
I would say it would be that I need to be patient with technology and learning it. My confidence with it will come with practice. I need to be patient because technology won't always be working perfectly. I still have a lot to learn since technology is changing every day.

How has your attitude changed regarding technology and education?
I am excited but also scared about it. It's fun finding new resources but also scary because it requires so much knowledge and thought. It will be neat to know and learn how to use it all as time goes on.

What are your top two takeaways from this experience?
I would say that I have gained a lot more confidence in myself when it comes to using technology and that I now know many places to go and find resources and I can network with others and find out ideas from them also.
